Born in Santiago, Chile, I later went on to live in five different countries including Spain, China, Malaysia, Brazil and now Sweden. My love for cigars was kindled in around 2014 when a friend brought a Romeo y Julieta No. 2 to a poker night. I had previously read about cigars and knew roughly how to smoke. The Cuban petit corona was a perfect beginner stick that drew me in immediately and since then I was hooked. I've been smoking and collecting cigars regularly for over three years now and love cigars across the spectrum. In general, however, I'd say my favorite cigars are somewhere around medium-bodied and Cuban. I do love non-Cuban cigars too and my split is probably around 60/40 with Cubans being smoked a little more often. Although it's hard to pinpoint a favorite cigar, I absolutely adore H. Upmann and the Cohiba Siglo series. I'm a lover of all things wine with port wine probably being my favorite pairing with a cigar.
I was born in Stockholm, Sweden but moved early on to Singapore and later Canada and have now ended up in Lund, Sweden. My fascination with cigars started early, before I was even legally allowed to buy them. So when the opportunity arose to try it out, I was exhilarated. My first smoke was a Macanudo Maduro Diplomat, a unique first smoke but the craftmanship definitely caught my attention. Since then, my interest for cigars has grown immensely, sharing new experiences with Carl and really exploring a before unknown community that has embraced us incredibly. I enjoy most cigars I've come across but my favourites have been from Cuba, including brands such as Ramon Allones and H.Upmann. I enjoy medium-bodied cigars and although there are many gems to be found outside of Cuba, I really appreciate the taste of Cuban tobacco. When it comes to drink pairings I usually go with a coffee since its often the most suitable match if smoking during the day. However I absolutely love a cigar that pairs well with a dark rum or red port wine.
